About Us

Welcome to Sun Valley Family Campground

Where Family Fun and the Great Outdoors Go Hand in Hand

Since opening our gates in 1987, Sun Valley Family Campground has been a place where memories are made, fish are caught, and campfires burn bright under starry skies. What started as over 150 full-service campsites and a one-acre swimming pool with a sandy beach has grown into a thriving campground full of life, laughter, and lasting traditions.

Our campground sits on the historic site of the old Marshall Quarry, which gives us something truly special—two spring-fed quarry lakes fully stocked for some of the best fishing around. Whether you’re tossing in a line or just soaking in the view, it’s all part of the Sun Valley charm.

Growing With You

As RVs got bigger and campers more adventurous, we expanded right along with them. We added new campsites, upgraded our laundry facilities with high-capacity washers and dryers (because nobody wants to spend their vacation waiting on laundry), and even introduced residential lots for those who want to make Sun Valley their forever getaway. Yes, we now offer metered electric, so you can settle in and stay a while!

Play All Day

Over the years, we’ve added more ways to play—from our giant water slides at the pool to shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, and volleyball and basketball courts. We believe that the best days are the ones spent outside, moving, laughing, and maybe even getting a little muddy.

Always Improving

We’re constantly working to make your experience better. Our new and improved Customer Service Area makes check-in a breeze, and our remodeled shower house and restrooms are sparkling clean and up-to-date—because even campers like a little comfort.
